the horns , delirum and desire 2024-2025
these horns , shown in two exhibtions , are inspired from the myths of humans finding parts of animal bones and placing them together to create mythological creatures. the horn , a symbol and being slips in and out of my work. the horns were made out of wooden sticks , monster clay , fake hair , and liquid latex.
presented within the exhibtion whispers from the hollow 2025 june group exhibtion curated by Jun Rui Lo and Audrey Lung at filet space in london.
as well as presented in my BA degree show at central saint martins within 2024 which was titled “a taxidermists desires”
mixing fictional taxidmery , myth, and fairy tale , with the themes of occult and incantation, the horns come to life in various rooms of stone and exhibits.

works caused by the idea of fiction , myth and occult , the comming together of other ecological creatures, the new ecosystem , the new untold . the found of the mutations of the enviroments of other worldy beings. presented in a musuem curitoral way similar to narwall horns and other strange objects.

in progress of a instilation combining both sculptures together to become a filter of reality and the uncanny of mundane and death. with clothes underwear hanger and silicone with a larger clothes hanger. ambiguous , gritty of browns and slick feeling , the jaws stuck on a underwear hanger , placed in our reality of soft and hard material. the changing of how we gain , consume and ingest our plastics, our jaws , our fish , entangled with our forever lasting material consumption. alive and deceased coming into spectre of a jaw hanger bone-

Elizabeth Rose is a contemporary artist working within sculpture , painting , writing and research. Fluxing and bending between each of these mediums to create invoked installations, on their own sculptural forms , to cause the unease , the uncanny ,and the surreal matter of mundane object, space and unknown beings. Mixing of fictional reality and sensory displacement/placement for viewers, Rose builds upon the theories and philosophies of Post-human , speculative fiction , and apocalypse narratives mixed with dystopian flavour. Creating works and spaces to cause the viewer to be encased in these worlds Rose works with silicone , leather , latex and other textural elements with bio plastic , working with industrial aesthetics and inspiration from growing up within the industrial landscape of north England.
Through these practices and research Rose has worked upon various projects within prop design of theatrical sets of movies , along side exhibi- tions. Depicting the stitching together of creatures through bone and mythology , Rose has exhibited at FILET space in London in the Whispers From the Hollow exhibit, in 2025 June. Then working upon Transmutation by Charlie Jimenez.
Along side these Rose has also worked on many collective projects including titled lock in project, through the exploration of being locked in
a old bank space with other members of the collective. Rose worked on the ideas of surveillance and abandoned spaces with the increasing AI inventions.
Through these projects Rose has graduated from Central Saint Martins with a BA in fine art. Working on the situation of practice , and sculptural creation Rose has nonbeing studying at the Royal College of art within the Contemporary Art Practice course. Refining and pushing their ideas and process within a exhibition setting and studio setting.
With these experiences and expanding knowledge of sculptural and creation of fiction Rose is working towards installation illusion, artefact apocalypse studies and monstrous inventions.
