fluxing between sculpture , worlds of Beast , the theoretical of our own destruction and the breathe of writing, Rose blends these mediums into cohesive installations and moments. bringing desire , culture association , and science fiction anthropology into physical forms.
Based in London and born in Sheffield, Rose looks into the puzzles of philosophical languages and discussions of humanities own self inflicted apocalypse and how that is presented in science fiction narratives. bringing forward speculative taxidermy of horns and myth, along side casting materials of food and curiously found objects. with touches of real life experience onto of these non human entities these manifest into layered worlds bringing viewers into find peace and suffocation upon looking on our own realities. living within our dystopia , how can our sculpture forms of monster cause conversation of utopian structures and new ways of life? how can the collage and the collection of physical and sound present them selves in academic discussion of humanities future? why create futuristic mutant eggs from crocodiles to show evolution? Rose brings these questions to their surface of sleeping creatures.
rose has completed her BA in fine art at central st martins graduating in 2024, and in 2026 completing her MA in contempory art at the Royal college of art.
