Some things resist being seen, touched, yet they fill up a space as surely as any
object. Emotions, histories, and half-formed memories settle into corners, clinging
to the air like dust that never quite lands. These are the presences that don’t need
bodies to be felt—stories that hum beneath surfaces, myths that blur the boundary
between real and imagined.
Materiality doesn’t end with the tangible. The emotional, the spectral, the
almost-visible—these, too, occupy the room. The world is porous; it holds traces of
what came before, what was never spoken, what still lingers. We navigate through
layers: things, and the feelings that haunt them. There’s no clean separation.
Sometimes the ghost is the realest thing in the room.
We don’t just inhabit space; we share it with everything that can’t be touched but
refuses to disappear.
